The kit comes complete with all parts and cabinet, for just over 7 euros including delivery. Assembly is quite easy, including putting the transparant cabinet together.
The output voltage is specified as 3V for sine waves, but the impedance is 600 Ohms, so connecting a speaker directly will make the output audible but not loud. The triangular (left) and sine (right) waves are clearly different on the scope, but the difference fades away at maximum output level.
The level pot operates reversely: clockwise movement decreases the level. Ranges are switched by moving a jumper. Wave form is set by chosing the appropriate output (for square waves) or a jumper (triangular/sine). The unit lacks any indication of frequency.
