Bluetooth speakers come in various shapes and disguises, but this build in unit lends itself very well for your own projects. I like the version with on board amplifier the best, because it is very simple to use and has the least noise.

This is about the simplest project one can make: Put the unit in a suitable box and make all connections to the outside world. 
On the PCB (right) you can see the Bluetoot antenna on the left, and the two 3W amplifiers behind the 3.5mm AUX jack. 
On the back panel, you can see the connectors for power (5V DC, center is positive), two loudspekers (4 Ohms work the best), and FM antenna (banana plug).
