The Design

The label intrigued me: a frequency changing converter? This should contain some high level AC/AC conversion involving solid state. However, measurements reveal that the output voltage is also 50Hz, despite the label.

This Object

I can use it for my RCA radio or other American sets. It is not wise to leave it plugged continuously, because it draws 3.5W in idle mode.
